NEET UG 2024 Hearing Live: SC directs NTA to publish centre and city-wise results, next hearing on Monday

The Supreme Court heard a batch of pleas in connection with the NEET UG 2024 paper leak case today, July 18, 2024. During the hearing, the bench comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Mishra directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to publish the NEET UG 2024 examination results on their website, ensuring the anonymity of candidates by masking identities city-wise and center-wise.



The Apex Court has directed NTA to declare the NEET UG 2024 results by 12 noon on July 20, 2024.

During the hearing, the CJI addressed the admitted leaks at Patna and Hazaribagh and stressed the need to determine whether the breach was widespread. He also acknowledged that students are disadvantaged because they do not know their results. The CJI suggested masking student identities while displaying center-wise mark patterns to ensure transparency and maintain integrity in the examination process.
