Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2023: Registration, Dates, Seat Allotment (Started)

Chhattisgarh NEET 2023 counselling began at the official website, cgdme.admissions.nic, on July 25, 2023. Per the official notification shared by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur, candidates can complete the form until August 1, 2023. DME Raipur released the Chhattisgarh NEET counselling schedule on July 24, 2023. DME Raipur is responsible for releasing the Chhattisgarh State merit list for counselling MBBS and BDS admission. It is an online process that will conduct in two rounds. A third (mop-up) round of Chhattisgarh NEET counselling will also be conducted if any seats are left vacant after the conclusion of the second round. Unlike the previous two rounds, this round of counselling will be led offline.

Students who wish to participate in the counselling of Chhattisgarh NEET 2023 must register on the official website of DME, Raipur. They also need to qualify for NEET 2023 to be eligible to participate in the counselling process of this state.

Chhattisgarh NEET counselling 2023 process includes registration, choice filling, the release of the seat allotment list, document verification, and reporting to the allotted institute. All the steps have their peculiarities, and below is the description of each step:

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling Registration

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Chhattisgarh NEET 2023 need to register on the official website of the DME. The steps for online registration are below:

• Go to cgdme.admissions.nic.in
• Register using a valid Email Id and mobile number
• Fill in the details in the application form carefully
• Set a password and choose a security question
• Check the application form thoroughly before submitting it
• Pay the registration fee as directed by the DME Raipur
• Login ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling Choice filling

After registration, a candidate must submit the choices (course/ college) for the Chhattisgarh NEET 2023 counselling. They have to log in to the registered account on the official website and provide the choices.

Candidates must note that the option to fill in the choices will be given only once. Thus, they are advised to fill in as many choices as possible. Also, they must remember that choices, once submitted, cannot be changed.

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling Seat allotment list

The competent authority will allocate the seats based on the candidate’s merit in NEET 2023 and their choices. The seats left vacant after the first round of Chhattisgarh NEET counselling 2023 will be carried forward to the second round.

After the second round, an offline mop-up round of Chhattisgarh NEET 2023 counselling will be conducted to fill vacant seats.
