Has counselling for NEET 2023 started?

The Medical Counselling Committee is the competent authority to conduct the counseling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2023, for eligible aspirants. The NEET UG counseling 2023 schedule pdf will be updated here once announced.



Aspirants must participate in NEET UG counselling 2023 to get admission to medical or dental colleges in India. In the NEET UG 2023 counselling session, eligible candidates must register, fill in the choice of course and colleges and pay the fee. The seat will be allowed on the grounds of the choices filled by the aspirants, NEET 2023 rank, seat availability, and reservation.

MCC's NEET counselling 2023 will be held for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges and 100% in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, JIPMER, and BSc Nursing programs on the grounds of NEET 2023. The NEET AIQ counselling process for 2023 will divide into four rounds, namely rounds 1 and 2, mop up, and stray vacancy.

The NEET is the only entrance exam for admission to 99,313 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc & AH seats, respectively, in 542 and 313 medical and dental colleges. 

When Will NEET Counselling 2023 Start?

The exact starting date of NEET Counselling 2023 has yet to be announced. However, as the NEET results are announced, counselling authorities will release the NEET UG 2023 counselling schedule PDF on the official website. To know the latest update on NEET UG counselling 2023 dates, candidates should regularly check the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in, or the counselling authority of your respective state.

How to Apply for NEET Counselling, After NEET Result?

After the NEET results announce, eligible candidates must register for counselling through the official counselling website (MCC or state authority). The detailed process and deadlines will provide in the counselling notification.

  • Candidates who will qualify for the NEET will be eligible to apply for NEET 2023 counselling.
  • Jammu and Kashmir candidates will also be eligible to participate in All India NEET counselling.
  • Those who will register for NEET 2023 counselling are on the MCC website.
  • The AIQ counselling for Considered Universities will be open to all NEET-qualified candidates.

The National Test Agency (NTA) has released the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) 2024 admit card  (CUET UG 2024) 2024 admit card for the May 29 exam.
