Why Everyone Gives Importance To Doing Msc Microbiology With Food And Environmental Microbiology From UPES , Dehradun
Introduction
Masters in Microbiology is a two-year program with two distinct streams: food and Environmental Microbiology and Medical and Pharmaceutical Microbiology. The Food and Environmental Microbiology stream offers optional courses like prebiotics and probiotics, food-borne contamination, food-borne illnesses, biofertilizers, and bioremediation. Each level of the course is one step higher than the previous one. Probiotics and prebiotics cover how microbes are utilized for therapy and how they affect our overall health. Food-borne diseases explore how infectious diseases can be contracted through food and preventive measures. The final course in the specialization of bio-fertilizers and bioremediation explains microbes' role in eliminating other microbes, pests, and insects. Bio-remediation explores the role of microbes in removing pollutants, toxins and contaminants from the environment. These three courses can help students become prospective microbiologists of the food or environment. The curriculum is designed to work in companies or industries they are interested in and carry out a multi-disciplinary research project within the SoHSSchool of Health Sciences, UPES, in conjunction with the School of Computer Science, School of Business School Engineering and School of Design. The main focus is on outcome-focused education, to be highly employable and microbiologists who can solve problems.

Academic Framework
Since its beginning, the basis of higher education in UPES has been to research and encourage learning areas that are innovative and forward-looking. This has led to continuous improvement in the way we facilitate innovative and collaborative learning experiences for students through the re-alignment of courses and exploring online tools, as well as open-source courseware, thereby enabling the possibility of unlimited learning and access to a wealth of information.
The new framework for curriculum at UPES, ABLE (Academic Blueprint for Learning Excellence), is complete in its structure. However, it is focused on the unique needs of each student to learn experiences, discover, investigate and test. Learning is separated into core subjects as well as core specialism studies minors/exploratory subjects, as well as life-skills and signature subjects. The recently established School provides these three courses for Life.
SFL (School for the Future) is an integral part of the complete UPES student experience. It provides learning and education that strikes an ideal blend of the needs of students and what they need from future global leaders and citizens. Through courses designed to provide students with lifelong learning capabilities with a particular concentration on a variety of contemporary issues, as well as an obligatory professional and social internship that is distinctive, UPES believes in igniting to awaken the best of oneself to improve the world.
